Aims. |
The final unit for this module attempts to draw together the various explanations for ethnic disparities in health in order to suggest solutions to the reported differences in health. At the end of this unit you should be able to:
- Recognise the challenges that health professional need to meet when attempting to provide a more equitable service
- Evaluate solutions to the problem of ethnic disparities in health
In order to complete this unit, you should have the following:
- Your brain!
- A sociology of health text book (such as the one by Scambler, 2003).
