Web 2.0 Technologies

In January 2008, Campus Pack, a new building block was added to Blackboard which enables staff and students to collaborate within Blackboard using Wikis, Blogs and E-Portfolios.  These new tools integrate all modules within Blackboard and enable tutor to student collaboration as well as student to student collaboration encouraging participants to contribute online. This utilises LTDU’s approach to blended learning, encouraging participation within the VLE using wikis as a tool for collaboration, blogs as a reflective tool for journaling learning experiences and e-portfolios as an interactive tool for demonstrating development and evidencing learning outcomes.

General workshops are offered on a monthly basis and the team can also deliver workshops specific to the needs within your school.
