The Teaching in Higher Education programme enables full and part
time academic staff and others involved in student learning to participate in a
structured programme of teaching development activity focused on
their individual needs.
It leads to a University of Wales
post-graduate certificate (PgC) and enables recognition as
Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.
The programme comprises
60 M-level credits, which will normally take between 12 months and
3 years to complete, and is run in conjunction with UW Bangor, UW
Aberystwyth, UW Swansea and UW Lampeter.
"listening to
others' experiences of good teaching practice has been
invaluable"
"something I did not
anticipate materialising was the distinct sense of ownership
regarding the interventions which is accompanied with both pride
and satisfaction"
