Action-planning - Student Experience

The Quality Enhancement Team in LTDU carries out a range of different research activities to enhance the Student Experience at UWIC. These include carrying out student surveys, focus groups and introducing innovative approaches to gathering feedback from students such as the Diary Room

Information gathered from these activities is used to inform action planning across UWIC in support of both specific and broader improvements to the student learning experience.

We support action planning in Schools and Units in the following ways:

- Findings from focus groups can help to inform Annual Programme Reports

- Units can request information from us to support reporting

- Results from surveys can highlight areas of good practice for dissemination

- Results from the ‘Diary Room’ have helped to inform new induction, assessment and   feedback initiatives

- We evaluate service provision to promote continuing improvements.

For more information of the services we provide to support action planning, please contact a member of the QEC team: Rachel Coral Pam Phillips | Nicola Poole

A Survey Request Form is also available, and a list of Frequently Asked Questions about carrying out surveys
